Mumbai-Ahmedabad rail line restored

Train services on Mumbai-Ahmedabad section of the western railways has been completely restored on Tuesday, railway sources said in Surat.

The train services, which were disrupted due to major damage to the tracks on Surat-Vadodara section for the past week has been restored, they said.

However, long distance major trains are still running behind the schedule by about an hour or so, sources added.
