Militants kidnapped a father-son duo and killed them in Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir [Images], official sources said on Thursday.

Ghulam [Images] Qadir Beigh and his son Bilal Ahmad were abducted from their house in Kremshore village, 25 km from Srinagar [Images], on Wednesday night, the sources said.

The ultras later killed them by slitting their throats at a nearby village, the sources added.

Police recovered the bodies on Thursday morning and registered a case. They added that it was not clear why they were killed.
