BSP MP arrested for illegal arms possession Anand Mohan Sahay in Patna | January 26, 2005 21:51 IST Last Updated: January 27, 2005 09:43 IST Bahujan Samaj Party MP Kailashnath Singh Yadav from Uttar Pradesh was arrested on Wednesday for illegal possession of arms in Kaimur district in Bihar. Senior Police Inspector of Kaimur Ratan Sanjay told rediff.com that the MP was arrested under violation of the Arms Act. Yadav is an MP from Chandauli in Uttar Pradesh. The police seized six arms, including revolvers, rifles and double barrel gun, from him. The MP was in Kaimur to campaign for BSP candidates for the assembly polls.
