When he didn't come back, his family members lodged a first information report with the Biharsharif town police station.

The incident took place close on the heels of the kidnapping of Kislay Kaushal, a student of Delhi Public School, Patna, on January 19.

All private schools remained closed in Bihar on Monday as students launched a relay fast in Patna and urged President A P J Abdul Kalam to intervene and secure Kislay's release.

The students also decided to boycott all cultural programmes on Republic Day and stage a demonstration before Raj Bhavan on January 28 if Kislay was not freed by then.
