The special police team probing the Sankararaman murder case has completed its investigations and will file the charge sheet on January 21, Kanchipuram Additional Superintendent of Police S P Sakthivelu said on Tuesday.

"We are ready to file the charge sheet anytime of the day [on Jan 21]," the chief investigative officer in the case said.

Kanchi seer Jayendra Saraswati is among those who has been arrested in connection with the murder of Sankararaman, who used to be employed with the Kanchi mutt.
