SJP fields eunuch in Bihar polls

The former prime minister Chandrashekhar's Samajwadi Janata Party has fielded a eunuch in the first phase phase of assembly elections for 64 seats on February 3.

"We have fielded Suresh Hijra from Gaya (town) assembly seat" said state SJP chief and former Bihar chief minister Ram Sunder Das.

Suresh Hijra, 40, a political activist , is a known figure in Gaya town and enjoys wide support, said Das.

The SJP is the  first party to field a eunuch in the state assembly elections.
