Ashok Tanwar is new Youth Cong president

National Students' Union of India president Ashok Tanwar will be the new president of the Indian Youth Congress.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi [Images] has appointed Tanwar as the IYC chief with immediate effect, All India Congress Committee general secretary Ashok Gehlot said on Friday.

The post had remained vacant for the last few months after incumbent Randip Singh Surjewala was made AICC secretary and later Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee working president.
