Gutka baron Jagdish Joshi on Monday said he has sought police protection after receiving 'threats' over phone from gangster Ravi Pujary for the last three days.

Talking to reporters before entering the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act court, which issued non-bailable warrant against him, Joshi said his son had received the calls.

The gangster had given his phone numbers also, Joshi said.

He said the matter had been reported to the police and that he had sought their protection.
