A constitutional court of Portugal rejected the review petition of underworld don Abu Salem's [Images] girlfriend Monica Bedi [Images] against her extradition thus clearing all hurdles for her to be deported to India to stand trial.
Bedi had filed a review petition before the constitutional court on February 9 after the supreme court of Portugal had ordered her extradition to India on charges of alleged forgery of passport, Central Bureau of Investigation sources said.
The review petition of Abu Salem, filed before constitutional court on February 16, was still pending.
The CBI has alleged that Bedi had forged documents and procured a passport in the name of Sana Kamal Mullick from Hyderabad, which she allegedly used for escaping from India.
