Injured Shivraj Singh taken to Mumbai

Ace polo player Shivraj Singh, who is in coma after suffering a head injury during a match, has been airlifted to Mumbai.

The 27-year-old, the only son of the erstwhile royal family of Jodhpur, was shifted in a special aircraft on Monday morning for treatment at Tata Hospital, sources said

A team of doctors from Mumbai was in the plane.

Shivraj fell down from his horse while playing in Birla Cup at Ram Bagh Polo Ground in Jaipur last Friday.

He was first taken to a nearby private hospital and later to S M S Hospital.
