Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Wednesday said inviting the Pakistani cricket team to play in Mumbai was an act by 'shameless persons'.

He was reacting to Pakistan Cricket Board officials' statement that the team was ready to play in Mumbai if invited and the efforts by Board of Control for Cricket in India officials to bring the team to play in India.

"Why only invite Pakistan cricket team. Also invite special terrorist team of Pakistan to the country to play a match. They have an open field here," he said in the party mouthpiece Saamna.
