Train crash toll hits 57

Two more persons died at Government Medical College hospital in Nagpur on Saturday, taking the toll in the passenger train collision to 57, police said.

A local train crashed into a tractor-trolley, carrying members of a marriage party, about 30 km from Nagpur on Thursday.

Sixteen of the injured are being treated at GMC and Indira Gandhi [Images] Medical College Hospital, police added.

Meanwhile, a magesterial inquiry has been ordered into the mishap at the unmanned level crossing.
