The Supreme Court on Friday issued notice to Madhumani Tripathi, wife of former Uttar Pradesh minister Amarmani Tripathi, in the Madhumita Shukla murder case.
The SC was hearing a petition filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation seeking the cancellation of the bail granted to her by the Allahabad high court.
The CBI has named her as the main conspirator in the murder of the poetess. It said Madhumani was required for custodial interrogation to further the probe in the case.
