The presence of a private car in Parliament House without the requisite security pass, Wednesday, raised eyebrows.

The Black Indica car (No DL 2C AB 0442) is understood to have carried the family members of Assistant Commissioner of Police (Incharge of Parliament Security) Kanwaljit Deol at around 1300 hours.

The Watch and Ward Staff, however, denied that it was a security breach as they knew the identity of the car and the inmates.

However, a Rajya Sabha member, who was present there, said the matter was serious. ''If a member cannot bring a car not having the Parliament sticker, how can a private car without a sticker be allowed to enter the complex,'' he said, adding the supervisors of security in the complex should also adhere to the norms.
