Churchil Alemao, the Congress member from south Goa [Images] who was one of the seven MPs caught in Star News channel's sting operation Chakravyuh into MPLAD's project allocation scam, Monday night alleged efforts were made to malign his image and said he would move the court against the channel.

"They had come to bribe me and I refused to accept it," Alemao, former Goa chief minister told PTI over phone from New Delhi adding that he would file an FIR with Delhi police against the channel and the NGO which "maligned my image. I will take them to court," he said.

"I am not involved in anything," he asserted.

Alemao said he doubted the claim of the people who had approached him with the scheme and hence held meetings with them. "They are trying to malign my imagine for no reason," he said.
