A four-member team of the special cell of Delhi police left for Tamil Nadu Saturday to investigate the first leads in connection with the bomb scare in Parliament.

The origin of the e-mail warning of blasts at American embassies and Parliament was traced to a cybercafe in the remote Murugankurichi village in Tirunelveli area of south Tamil Nadu.

"A four-member team has left for Tamil Nadu Saturday to investigate the matter," police sources said in New Delhi.

The special cell had registered a case at Lodhi Road police station under IPC 121 (waging war against the nation) and Section 18 and 20 of Prevention of Unlawful Activities Act against unknown persons.

Tamil Nadu police had picked up owners of Broadband Net Cafe and Nellai Online Selvin and Muthuraj respectively for questioning Friday.

Police had also searched the customer log book at both the cybercafes and also questioned a few customers in connection with the case.

Asked whether those picked up for questioning would be brought to Delhi, the sources mererly said, "Let the team reach Tamil Nadu first."
