Can the government tap phones to tackle terror? Tell us

Bangladesh has issued an ordinance allowing security personnel to tap telephones to check unlawful activities.

Many believe that tapping telephones is an invasion of one's privacy.

On the other hand, phone tapping could prevent major terrorist and criminal plans from taking effect. 

Can the government tap phones to tackle terror? Tell us.
