With the Supreme Court giving a go-ahead to the Election Commission to announce the poll schedule in Bihar, Chief Election Commissioner B B Tandon will be visiting the state to oversee the arrangements in the poll-bound state.

SC's silent nod to Bihar polls

Tandon would be visiting some of the districts next week to see the arrangements, especially the issuance of electoral photo identity cards, EC sources said.

EC had already expressed concern over the non-execution of several non-bailable warrants and decided to delete from the electoral rolls, names of those against whom NBWs had not been executed in the last six months.
