'I would like to see a more tolerant India'

Itake great pride in calling myself an Indian because India is a country that has diverse cultures, where people of different faiths co-exist despite their contrasting styles of living.

Independence means everything to us. One should enjoy the hard-earned Independence that we have got after almost 200 years of British rule. India has achieved a lot during the last 58 years but there is lot more to be done.

I would like to see a more tolerant India. While I would like to see India preserving its cultural heritage, at the same time we should change ourselves with changing times. Change is the essence of life.

Today the world is coming together. We should also keep pace with the rest of the world. I would like to see India becoming a world superpower. I am sure that is the dream of every Indian as well.
