Dubya continues to go about his business calmly. His press secretary maintains that spending time outside Washington gives him 'a fresh perspective of what's on the minds of the American people.'

It lets him have a bit of fun too, although not many would go by President Bush's idea of fun.

He likes chopping cedar on his ranch, apparently, or mountain biking through rough terrain in 100-degree temperatures.

Come to think of it, that's probably a lot more work than sitting at a desk in the White House.
