Discovery landing put off to 1613 IST

The landing of space shuttle Discovery has been delayed by 96 minutes because of weather conditions at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

NASA has delayed the landing of the shuttle from  1437 IST to 1613 IST.

 "We are going to officially wave off the first attempt," said Ken Ham at mission control in Houston. "We're holding some hope for the section option" at the Kennedy Space Center on Florida's Atlantic coast, he said.

Discovery has been in space for nearly two weeks now.
