Senior Janata Dal (United) leader and National Democratic Alliance's chief ministerial candidate Nitish Kumar urged the people of Bihar to give the NDA a chance to bring the state, which according to him had been ruined by the 15-year rule of Laloo-Rabri, back to the path of the development.

With the Election Commission gearing up to announce dates for the next assembly polls in state, Nitish has put an agenda before the people by asking them to give him a chance for development of the state.

"15 years of Laloo-Rabri rule led to total ruination of Bihar on developmental front. Give the NDA a chance to bring the state back to the path of the development," Nitish said in his address during the ongoing 'Nyay Yatra' on Friday in the flood-prone Saharsa district.

"Lalu-Rabri rule instead of taking up any development programmes, wasted time in creating caste tensions in the society for the political gains," he added.

The NDA's third phase of the 'Nyay Yatra' started today and will continue till August 8.
