Raising the issue shortly after Question Hour, CPI leader Gurudas Dasgupta wanted to know the status of his privilege
motion.
Speaker Somnath Chatterjee said, "This is under my consideration." He said all privilege motions were under his consideration.
The ruling United Progressive Alliance, its Left party allies and supporters have condemned what they termed as the 'wild behaviour' of Banerjee and demanded that she tender an unqualified apology.
