August 03, 2005 20:26 IST

Singapore Airlines and Jet Airways announced on Wednesday that they would resume normal flight operations in and out of Mumbai from Thursday.

The south east Asian carrier will operate its day flight (SQ 421) and the night service (SQ 423) as the navigation equipment on the main runway was again serviceable, Singapore Airlines said in a release.

The airline, which had suspended its flights last week following torrential rains and closure of the Mumbai airport, had begun daytime flights from August 1.
