A National Commission for Women team is scheduled to visit Mumbai on May 2 to meet the 16-year-old girl who was raped by an inebriated policeman at Marine Drive police post on April 21.

In a letter addressed to the Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil, the NCW said that the team would like to meet the victim on May 3.

The team would also submit recommendations from the point of view of compensation and rehabilitation of the victim, the letter said.
