The crisis in Delhi's ruling Congress, which was triggered by dissidence against Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, blew over on Monday night after party president Sonia Gandhi [Images] intervened.

After a two-and-a-half hour meeting Gandhi had with Dixit and her detractor and Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee chief Rambabu Sharma, All India Congress Committee general secretary Ashok Gehlot told Reporters, "Everything is alright in the (Delhi unit of the) party."

Besides Gehlot, Ahmed Patel and Union ministers P M Sayeed and Jagdish Tytler were present at the meeting.

Asked if there could be any change in the leadership in Delhi, he shot back, "What does 'everything is alright' mean?"

Last week, Dixit had walked out of a party meeting in which the dissidents had attacked her and her government's style of functioning.

As the dissidents stepped up their activities, both the CM and the DPCC chief had sought an appointment with Gandhi.
