The Bihar police on Tuesday recovered an abducted Orissa girl from the house of a Lok Janshakti Party leader in Muzaffarpur district.

Lakshmi [name changed] was recovered from Bhola Gupta's house in the jurisdiction of the Sadar police station after a police team raided the house.

The abducted girl's parents had named a relative of Gupta as the main suspect in a complaint with the police in Cuttack.

Both the LJP leader and his relative are untraceable.

The girl has been sent for medical tests and is likely to be handed over to the Orissa police in a day or two.
