Musharraf takes Manmohan by surprise

September 25, 2004 01:34 IST

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was on Friday taken by surprise when Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf presented an album of old photographs of Singh in the school he studied in.

He also produced a copy of Singh's school report card dug out from the archives. These were topped by a painting of the village in west Punjab, now in Pakistan, where Singh was born.
