The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday said it faced the risk of losing in Maharashtra Assembly elections if it failed to maintain its 'lead' it currently is said to have.
"If we continue to maintain the lead we have got, then only we can win. Otherwise there is a risk of losing also," party general Ssecretary in-charge of Maharashtra Pramod Mahajan told reporters.
He claimed that BJP-Shiv Sena combine had an edge over Congress-NCP alliance and there was a possibility of his coalition bagging 145 seats in the 288-member House to aquire majority.
"The coming three weeks will be crucial," Mahajan said.
