September 13, 2004 11:39 IST

Lashkar-e-Tayiba terrorists on Monday shot dead three members of a family, including a woman, in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.

The terrorists barged into the house of one Muzum Din in village Kalmund-Bachana at around 0130 IST.

They killed the three after torturing them, the sources said, adding that the bodies bore marks made by sharp-edged weapons.

The victims were identified as Mohammed Zaman and Abdul Gani, Muzum Din's sons, and Zaman's wife Bano.
