One killed, 18 hurt in J&K blast Mukhtar Ahmed in Srinagar | September 11, 2004 15:04 IST Last Updated: September 11, 2004 15:38 IST One person was killed and 18 injured, including four Border Security Force soldiers, in a grenade explosion at Kupwara in North Kashmir The police said militants hurled the grenade at a BSF near Jamia mosque of the district. Doctors referred three seriously injured civilians to Srinagar for specialised treatment. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the blast. Meanwhile, two army soldiers were killed and an equal number wounded when militants attacked a party of security forces near Danseer village in central Budgam district late last night.
