Tamil Nadu STF will not be disbanded A Correspondent in Chennai | October 20, 2004 11:34 IST The Tamil Nadu government has decided not to disband the Special Task Force constituted to hunt for forest brigand Veerappan, now that the dreaded tusker smuggler is dead. Senior Tamil Nadu government officials indicated that the STF may be retrained and re-equipped to deal with Tamil nationalist guerrillas.
