Four ultras killed in Srinagar

Four militants were killed when the Jammu and Kashmir police repulsed an attack on a patrol party in the capital on Saturday morning.

A group of militants opened fire on a police patrol at Nishat. The police retaliated, killing four ultras on the spot. The slain militants are yet to be identified.

In another incident, militants chopped off the hands of a man in Tral Area in Pulwama district, 30 km from Srinagar.
