Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Wednesday said progress on resolving the Kashmir problem will have to be made in tandem with forward movement on other issues between India and Pakistan.

Aziz was speaking to reporters after his luncheon meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi.

Aziz made it clear that he did not carry to the Indian side President Pervez Musharraf's recent formulation on Kashmir, which he said was meant for public debate in Pakistan.  "No proposals were presented to India. No reaction was expected from India," he said

Musharraf had proposed demilitarisation of some areas on both sides of the Line of Control in Kashmir.

On Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service, Aziz said the two countries will have to sort out issues like travel documents for use by passengers.

He said the bus service would come up for detailed discussion at the foreign secretary-level talks next month and added that Islamabad has also proposed a Jammu-Sialkot bus service.

Aziz said Pakistan wants peace with all its neighbours, including India.

The two leaders met at the majestic Hyderabad House in Lutyen's Delhi. They first had a one-to-one meeting, followed by delegation-level talks.
