Shinde sworn-in as AP governor November 04, 2004 14:31 IST Former Maharashtra chief minister Sushilkumar Shinde was sworn-in as the new governor of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday. Sixty two-year-old Shinde was administered the oath of office by Chief Justice Devendra Gupta at a simple ceremony at the Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad. Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, his cabinet colleagues and assembly Speaker K R Suresh Reddy, besides Shinde's well-wishers from Maharashtra, were among those who attended the ceremony.
