Pak to sell arms to Nepal

November 02, 2004 14:47 IST

Pledging cooperation with Nepal in its fight against terrorism, Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz today said his country would supply arms to the Himalyan kingdom on a credit basis.

Pakistan would provide credit facility to Nepal for procuring capital goods and defence equipment from Pakistan, the state-run Nepal Television quoted Aziz as saying.

The current 12 million dollar business between Nepal and Pakistan should be expanded to $ 100 million, Aziz said, expressing Pakistan's willingness to invest in Nepal to expand economic cooperation.
