Govinda later visited his longtime friend, legislator Hitendra Thakur, who received the actor with his family. The star moved around in an open vehicle and met people on the streets, where he was greeted with drums and aarties.

Starstruck fans pushed and shoved each other to touch Govinda, shake his hand or get a half-a-second of his attention. They showered him with flowers and garlands from their balconies.
