HAL to supply 25 pilotless combat aircraft to IAF

The Hindustan Aeronautics Limited would supply 25 pilotless combat aircraft to the Indian Air Force during the next financial year.

The Bangalore unit of the company is manufacturing the aircraft, HAL chairman N R Mohanty told reporters in Kanpur on Thursday.

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has prepared the design of the aircraft while HAL is producing the engine and other parts.
