Lahore and London society have been agog with speculation this last year about a permanent rupture in the glamorous couple's relationship.
Jemima had begun spending more and more time away from her husband. She shifted to London, with their two sons, to secure a master's degree at the School of Oriental and African Studies.
She began making her presence felt again on London's party circuit. The British tabloids suggested she is seeing actor Hugh Grant.
On June 22, Imran Khan ended all speculation by announcing that 'Jemima and I are divorced.'
