Dr Shayama Prasad Mukherjee Fellowship Test -- July, 2004

The Shayama Prasad Mukherjee Fellowship Test 2004 (limited to the top 20 per cent candidates declared successful in the Joint CSIR-UGC Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship (NET) examination held in June 2003 and December 2003) is scheduled to take place on July 11 at Lucknow.

Successful candidates will be interviewed on July 13 and 14. Admission certificates to these candidates are being dispatched. A detailed notification giving roll numbers of eligible NET candidates can be seen on our Web site www.csirhrdg.res.in.

Valid GATE score card holders with 99 per cent or above desirous of pursuing research in NET's subject areas may also apply; 100 such candidates may be admitted on selective basis.

GATE score holders may download the prescribed application form from the Web site, and send the completed form to The Controller of Examination (SPMF), Examination Unit, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, CSIR Complex, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi -- 110 012.

The last date for receiving the completed application form is June 20.
