Bihar: Vendor thrown out of running train by cops

Bihar simply refuses to vacate the headlines where crimes on trains are concerned.

It is a different kind of crime in trains in Bihar as Government Railway Police personnel threw a vendor out of a running train resulting in his death and mindlessly beat another vendor for refusing to pay bribes.

Yet another attack in train in Bihar


Sanjay Kumar was thrown out of a running train near Motihari in East Champaran district. He was a resident of Turkaliya bazaar near Motihari. He was cremated on Friday.

"Sanjay objected to the GRP personnel checking his pockets for money after we refused to pay bribes. The policemen beat him up before throwing him out of the running train," said Prabhu Sah, who was travelling with Sanjay.

Prabhu has been hospitalised for treatment of injuries sustained when the GRP men beat him up.
