Funds pour in for relief work at Kumbakonam July 19, 2004 19:27 IST Funds to provide compensation to the relatives of 90 school children who perished in the fire at Kumbakonam and to take up conversion of thatched roof class rooms to concrete ones have started pouring in from various organisations in Tamil Nadu, with the Tamil film industry alone collecting over Rs 50 lakh.
