Showers in Delhi

The monsoon on Friday made a reappearance in the national capital with the easterly winds bringing showers in the wee hours.

"The easterly winds, which bring with them monsoon clouds, had been blowing all through Thursday and late at night, resulting in thundershowers," a Meteorological Department official said.

The Safdarjung and Lodhi Road observatories recorded one millimetre and 0.7 mm of rainfall respectively.
