Turmoil in Parliament over Godhra probe

The government's decision to hold a fresh inquiry into the Godhra carnage on Thursday led to turmoil in both Houses of Parliament with agitated opposition members accusing the Centre of trying to divide people on communal lines, forcing their adjournment twice.

They were unhappy with Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav for ordered a fresh inquiry into the Godhra incident.
