BJP leader abducted in Bihar

Unidentified gunmen abducted a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party's national council from Rohtas district in Bihar late on Monday night.

Police said some armed miscreants intercepted Sikander Rai's jeep near Paruri village, about 15km from Sasaram, when he was on his way from Bikramganj to Jamuhar village.

They abducted Rai but did not harm four others accompanying the BJP leader.
