Netaji remembered on his birth anniversary

The birth anniversary of the supreme commander of Indian National Army Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was celebrated in Punjab and all over the country on Friday with great enthusiasm.

A large number of freedom fighters from all over the state assembled in  front of the statue of Netaji on the GT road and placed garlands on it.

The INA men and other freedom fighters assembled at the Freedom Fighters Bhawan in Moga where tributes were paid to the Netaji.

The speakers appealed to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to observe January 23 as Netaji's birthday officially at the national level.
