Former Union minister T R Baalu and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam deputy general secretary M K Stalin are leaving for New Delhi on Saturday as the party's emissaries to meet Congress chief Sonia Gandhi to further talks on their recently formed alliance.

This was stated in Chennai on Friday tonight by the DMK in a press statement.

Earlier in the day in Delhi, Sonia Gandhi had stated that the DMK was sending emissaries for holding further discussions with the party.
