Bush certifies Pak cooperating in global war on terrorism

In a certification necessary for certain types of aid to a country, President George W Bush has determined that Pakistan is cooperating with the US in the global war against terrorism.

"Consistent with the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, including the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for Defence and for the Reconstruction of Iraq and Afghanistan, 2004, I hereby determine for the purposes of that Act that the government of Pakistan is cooperating with the United States in the Global War on Terrorism," Bush said in his certification.
