Three sisters commit suicide in Orissa February 10, 2004 17:13 IST Three sisters committed suicide in Phulbani, Orissa, on Tuesday, police said. Their father died a few years ago. Last year, their mother committed suicide by setting herself ablaze. Padmini (28), Minati (26) and Kusumanjali Nayak (24) apparently entered into a suicide pact when there was no one at home. They were found hanging in their mud house in Peonpara locality by their brother Rabindra when he returned from Berhampur. The bodies had been sent for post-mortem.
