Car blast kills at least 45 in Iraq Agencies | February 10, 2004 19:17 IST Last Updated: February 10, 2004 19:37 IST At least 45 people were killed and 150 wounded in a car bomb blast near a police station and courthouse in Iskandariyah, 40km south of Baghdad, on Tuesday, according to reports. The BBC quoted Iraqi police and US military officials as saying that it was apparently a suicide attack. The BBC's Stephen Sackur said an angry crowd gathered at the site of the blast and anti-American slogans could be heard. Powered by
